Friendly Visit to Japan for Vietnamese Youth Delegation in 2017


On the afternoon of March 27, 2017, at the headquarters of HAUFO, representatives of HAUFO, the Hai Phong Union of Friendship Organizations and the Department of Foreign Affairs of Hung Yen worked with the KYOCERA delegation led by Mr. Yamashita, General Director of KYOCERA Vietnam Co., Ltd on organizing the friendly visit to Japan for Vietnamese youth delegation in 2017.

KYOCERA Vietnam is one of 230 members of KYOCERA Corporation – a worldwide multi-disciplinary corporation with over 70,000 staff. Currently, this company operates in the fields of semiconductor components manufacturing of smart phones and electronic equipment, real estate and other related services. Since 1976, the KYOCERA Group has organized 25 visits for Japanese teenagers to the United States and 41 US youths to visit Japan. In 2016, the Group implemented this program in Vietnam for secondary teenagers. Through this meaningful trip, they cultivated their knowledge and valuable lessons, then have been striving to become good people who meet the demand of the society in the future. In addition, this activity also tightened the traditional relationship between Vietnam and Japan.

On behalf of KYOCERA, Mr. Yamashita expressed his pleasure with the success of the first visit in 2016. He sincerely thanked for the positive cooperation from friendship unions and relevant agencies of three localities in organizing this activity, and also sent invitations of the second visit in 2017.

On behalf of Vietnamese units, Mr. Viet Viet Anh sincerely thanks KYOCERA for their contribution to the relationship between two countries in general and the people-to-people diplomacy in particular. He believes that following the success of the previous visit, this year’s program will also be well organized and contribute to future collaborative expansion.

The Friendly Visit to Japan for Vietnamese Youth Delegation 2017 is expected to held in the early of August. The delegation includes 10 teenagers from Hanoi, Hai Phong and Hung Yen.
