Politburo member and Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Hoang Trung Hai has stressed that the city authorities have always created most favourable conditions for the youth in their studying, work and start-up activities so that they can promote their vitality and creativity in facilitating the city’s development.
The Hanoi Party chief made the commitment at a working session with the Hanoi Youth Union on March 22.
He asked the municipal Youth Union to continue reforming its operations in order to encourage the pioneer spirit, volunteering and creativity among members and increase their participation in ensuring social welfare, building a cultured lifestyle and protecting the environment in the capital.
He also stressed the need to coordinate with relevant sectors in protecting the legitimate rights and interests of youth members, providing career guidance for the youth, supporting them in doing business and start ups activities.
Hanoi is home to the largest number of youth union members in the country, with over 703,000 youth union members and around 2.7 millions youngsters, who have been the forefront force in many areas of society.
