HAUFO’s Youth Union joins in Hanoi’s delegation offering incense and flowers at the Nhon Martyrs Cemetery

On occasion of the 70th anniversary of Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2017), on the morning of July 11, at the Nhon Martyrs Cemetery in Hanoi, the Hanoi Party’s Committee based-agencies organized the delegation in offering incense and flowers for the Vietnamese soldiers who sacrificed their lives for national independence.

The ceremony was attended by Mrs. Le Thi Thu Hang, head of the Hanoi Party’s Committee based-agencies, officials of the standing office, representatives of the veterans’ association, the labor committee, branches of Hanoi Party Committee, and youth unions’ members, including the HAUFO’s Youth Union.

In the solemn atmosphere, the delegation respectfully placed flowers, offered incense and spent several minutes commemorating the heroic martyrs. The delegates expressed their gratitude and deep appreciation for the huge contributions made by the war martyrs, who laid down their lives to bring independence and freedom to the country and happiness to the people.

This activity is a practical, meaningful event to raise the youth’s awareness and responsibility of who sacrificed their lives for national independence, toward the 70th anniversary of Martyrs Day.
