In the afternoon of November 24, Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations (HAUFO), Vietnam – Canada Friendship Association (VCFA), the Embassy of Canada in Vietnam, Manulife Vietnam and Elite Fitness has organized a press conference of the Hanoi Run for Children 2016.
The conference was attended by Mrs. Ping Kitnikone, Canadian Ambassador to Vietnam; Ambassador Nguyen Thi Hoi, Deputy Chairwoman of VCFA; Mrs. Nguyen Lan Huong, Chairwoman of the HAUFO and other representatives of the co-organizers: Manulife Vietnam and Elite Fitness, People’s Artist Le Khanh, Miss Vietnam 2016 Do My Linh, Ha Noi T & T football player Hoang Vu Samson, sponsors, beneficiaries and many journalists from Central and Hanoi.
Sharing in the meeting, Ambassador Ping Kitnikone said: “The support and involvement of the community in the Hanoi Run for Children in recent years has shown that noble gesture of the people of Hanoi and international friends to build a better and full of love society, and expressed the understanding and friendship between the people of Vietnam, the people of Canada with international friends. These children deserve a healthy life, and we will help them get there through the Hanoi Run for Children 2016. We hope this event will continue to attract many participants expressed the awareness of the health care of community.”
Hanoi Run for Children 2016 will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2016 at 7.30a.m at the main entrance of Reunification Park in Hanoi. All the donations will be used for programs to help children patients with cancer and heart diseases at the National Hospital of Pediatrics, Hanoi Heart Hospital and in the Heart Beat Vietnam program of VinaCapital Foundation.
